The Somali Independence Day festival is a yearly based event. The purpose of this event is to celebrate the Somali Independence Day and showcase our culture and history.
The event is attended by all communities including elders, youth, children, scholars, community leaders from different backgrounds, and experts.
The event will also bring the wider community to participate and appreciate the cultural diversity of Queensland.
The success of our community and our outreach is dependent entirely on the support of the community members and our sponsors.
